USBC & USPAACC Expand Collaboration to Increase Minority Certification Program

Washington, DC, February 28, 2024 - U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) and the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) are proud to announce the ByBlack x USPAACC Fast Track - a strategic partnership aimed at increasing the benefits of minority supplier certifications. This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in advancing economic opportunities and empowerment for diverse businesses across the United States.

The partnership between USBC and USPAACC that began collaboration in 2015 brings together two prominent and unique organizations by leveraging their collective strengths and expertise to create a streamlined certification process for minority-owned businesses for a much more robust ecosystem that strengthens access to opportunities and resources for minority suppliers.

"By joining forces with USPAACC, we are taking a significant stride towards increasing the economic influence of minority-owned businesses," said Ron Busby Sr., President and CEO of U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. "This partnership will facilitate a seamless experience for diverse suppliers seeking certification, while broadening their exposure to procurement opportunities."

USPAACC CEO Susan Au Allen said, "USBC and USPAACC are in full alignment in our commitment to elevating Black- and Pan Asian-owned businesses. Our continued collaboration is key in our quest to uplift each other and other minority-owned businesses. This creates a true equal playing field for all Americans to reach their Dream.”

Powered by US Black Chambers, ByBlack is an established platform that gives foundational assistance to businesses led by Black entrepreneurs. Backed by immense support by the likes of Issa Rae, ByBlack not only maintains an extensive catalog of verifiably Black-owned businesses but, in tandem with a variety of other initiatives, encourages those within and external to our community to buy Black.

USPAACC certification that began in 2008, is the Gold Standard for bona fide Pan Asian American-owned businesses. It is unique because it covers the most diverse community of 2.3 million Pan Asian-owned businesses from over 30 cultural backgrounds, 100 languages and dialects, and different immigration experiences. USPAACC is the organization that knows this community best.

Together, USBC and USPAACC will collaborate on educational initiatives, mentorship programs, and business development opportunities. This partnership aims to empower minority-owned businesses by increasing their competitiveness, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable growth that benefits all Americans.

This partnership marks an exciting chapter in the efforts to support and uplift diverse businesses in the United States where minority-owned businesses can flourish, creating a more equitable and inclusive economy.
