Privacy Policy

How USPAACC collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Who we are

The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (“USPAACC”, “we”, “us”) is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization at 1329 18th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, uspaacc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It covers the website and the forms on it. Our regional chapter websites, the CelebrASIAN conference website, and the registration platforms we link to have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic information about how the website is used. You can browse the site without creating an account, and we do not take payments on it.

  • Membership and sponsorship request form: first and last name, company, email, phone, the membership type or level you choose, and the program or event you would like to sponsor.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address and any details you add on the sign-up page.
  • Event registration forms we link to: whatever the form asks for, such as name, company, job title and contact details. These forms are run by our registration providers.
  • Emails and calls to us: whatever you include in your message.
  • Website analytics: pages visited, time on site, the site that referred you, browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Spam protection on forms: technical signals from your browser used to tell people from automated bots.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or payment card details through the website.

How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to membership, certification and sponsorship requests, and complete enrollment with you
  • Register you for events and send event details and reminders
  • Send newsletters and updates you signed up for
  • Connect members with corporate, government and nonprofit partners when you have asked us to
  • Understand which pages are useful and improve the website
  • Keep our forms free of spam and protect the website from misuse
  • Meet legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) sets cookies that count visits and show how pages are used. We use these reports in aggregate, not to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are submitted by people rather than bots.
  • Browser storage remembers the site menu and search results for the length of your visit so pages load faster. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. The website still works without them, though analytics will not count your visit.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that run parts of the website and our programs for us, and only for that purpose:

  • Webflow hosts the website (privacy policy).
  • HubSpot receives membership and sponsorship requests and runs our newsletter and some event registrations (privacy policy).
  • Google provides website analytics, Tag Manager and web fonts (privacy policy).
  • Cloudflare provides spam protection on forms (privacy policy).
  • Formsite, Eventbrite and Cvent run event registration forms we link to (Formsite, Eventbrite, Cvent).

We may also share information:

  • With a USPAACC regional chapter, when your request concerns its region or events
  • With event co-hosts and sponsors, when an event’s registration page says so
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of USPAACC, our members or others

Email and your choices

We send newsletters and event announcements only to people who signed up or asked to hear from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop by writing to info@uspaacc.com. Unsubscribing does not stop messages about a membership or registration you are part of.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you (see Contact us below). We will answer within 30 days.

Retention and security

We keep contact and membership information while you are a member, subscriber or event participant, and afterwards only as long as we need it for our records or as the law requires, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Website analytics data is deleted automatically under our Google Analytics retention settings.

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the systems that hold your information is limited to staff who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children and scholarship applicants

The website is meant for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our College Scholarship program is open to high school seniors, some of whom may be under 18. Applications are made through the scholarship application page, which explains what it collects. We use applicants’ information only to review applications, award scholarships and contact applicants and their families. With the recipient’s permission, and a parent’s or guardian’s for a recipient under 18, we may publish a recipient’s name, photo, school and college when we announce the awards.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date
  • Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
  • Stop sending you marketing emails

We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it.

USPAACC is based in the United States, and the services we use store information in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Other websites

The website links to other sites, including our regional chapters, the CelebrASIAN conference site, event registration pages, YouTube and social media. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our programs change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
