Over 500 1-on-1 Business Matchmaking Meetings to be Held for Pan Asian and Minority Suppliers

The country’s largest procurement conference convened by Pan Asian Americans will provide a platform rich with opportunities for innovative minority suppliers, buyers and key decision makers from Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, and large nonprofits. This exciting event will take place at the One-on-One Pre-scheduled Business Matchmaking Meetings and Supplier Trade Fair, to be held May 31-June 2, 2017 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California.

This industry-wide initiative is part of the flagship annual national business event, CelebrAsian Procurement Conference, presented by the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC). It is USPAACC’s signature program which was first introduced in 1998 and has since been replicated by various national organizations for its efficacy and success.

Over 500 one-on-one business matchmaking meetings between suppliers and buyers have already been planned.  More than 50 commodities across industries have been listed to be purchased in the next 12 to 18 months.

“We invite top-caliber Pan Asian and minority suppliers to showcase their product and service offerings to prospective business partners in Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies, and large nonprofits,” said Susan Au Allen, USPAACC National President and CEO. “Since USPAACC first introduced this business development concept to the market 18 years ago, we have successfully brought a wellspring of million-dollar procurement deals to our constituents and will continue to do so in the years to come. This, in turn, will create jobs, drive world-class innovation, and spur robust economic growth to effectively compete in today’s global marketplace.”

The Conference Co-Chairs are Ampcus, PepsiCo, Southern California Edison, and Wells Fargo.

Conference Sponsors to date are: AARP, Associated Builders & Contractors, AT&T, Avis-Budget, Disney, Enterprise Holdings, General Motors, Google, Hilton Worldwide, Ingersoll Rand, JPMorgan Chase, Kellogg, Nissan, Nationwide, Northrop Grumman, PG&E, UPS, US Postal Service, Walgreen, Walmart, Wyndham Worldwide.
