About 25% of the $350 Billion federal contracts are expected to be spent in this business community.
'Federal Contracts for Newcomers' will be a 'what, where, when, who and how' town hall-style event designed for small, women and underdeveloped suppliers. The Federal government purchases nearly everything – from dog food to furniture, marketing to construction, office supplies to technology, staffing to logistics, and so much more, in order to run the government nationwide and around the world.
The U.S. Departments of Energy, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, and Education; U.S. Agency for International Development; General Services Administration; and Federal financial regulatory agencies such as Security & Exchange Commission, FDIC, and Office of Controller of the Currency will be on hand to show the way.
