WASHINGTON (May 30, 2024)—Today the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) awarded 15 corporations with its second annual Supplier Diversity Champions Award. Supplier Diversity Champions is an award program recognizing innovation, inclusion, impact, transparency, and integration of supplier diversity programs within organizations. U.S.-based organizations with at least 750 US-based employees are eligible to apply. This year’s Vanguard champions were AgileOne, Delta Air Lines, Merck, Southern California Gas Company, and Synchrony Financial.
Visionary champions were Allstate Insurance Company, AT&T, Boston Scientific, Cushman & Wakefield, CVS Health, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, T-Mobile USA, US Bank, and Wells Fargo.
“Supplier Diversity Champions evaluates corporate social responsibility to a standard higher than just a corporation’s ability to spend. It evaluates corporate transparency, program scope, diverse spend, diverse suppliers, and Tier 2 programs,” said USPAACC CEO Susan Au Allen. “We hope the example set by these Supplier Diversity Champions will inspire others to follow their lead, creating a more inclusive and prosperous business ecosystem.”
The 15 winning corporations were recognized at USPAACC’s CelebrASIAN Business + Procurement Conference on May 30, 2024, in Alpharetta, Ga. To learn more about USPAACC’s Supplier Diversity Champions program, email USPAACC at [email protected], or visit www.uspaacc.com.
