She has been recognized for her leadership with numerous awards and is the recipient of the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Fast 50 Asian American Business Excellence Award.

Her voice is influential within the industry, especially as a minority and woman in technology. In September 2013, Anisa Balwani was invited to speak at the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Anisa was also invited by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce to participate in the roundtable discussion, “The Power and Promise of the Minority Woman Business.”

Respected and revered in her industry, Anisa's influence extends far beyond her own organization. She holds leadership roles across many organizations, where she contributes her invaluable expertise and mentorship. As the current Northeast Chapter President of the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, (USPAACC) Anisa connects Asian American, small and women-owned businesses to major corporations and government agencies. Anisa’s dedication to empowering women is evident through her involvement in the Governing Forum Board of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Steering Committee of the Women’s President Educational Organization (WPEO) and the Women Presidents Organization (WPO).

Anisa has, without a doubt, left an indelible mark as the Founder of RCI Technologies for the past 40 years. With an unwavering drive, she has transformed RCI into a thriving, multi-million-dollar revenue[1]generating powerhouse that is entering its second generation under the leadership of her daughter, Nisha Balwani as CEO.
