USPAACC National President & CEO to Moderate Two Sessions at Connectivity Sector’s Largest Conference and Trade Show in North America

Over 3,000 global thought leaders, executives, and practitioners from various enterprises in the networking, services, and supplier ecosystem have begun to gather in Orlando, Florida to participate in Connect (X), the largest conference and trade show for the connectivity sector in North America. USPAACC National President & CEO Susan Au Allen will moderate two sessions at this business technology event.

Speakers from Amazon Web Services, American Tower, AT&T, Crown Castle, Dish, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Verizon, Vertical Bridge, Federal Communications Commission, and more will share new information, best practices, business insight, and vision for a new era in improved and ubiquitous connectivity. The in-person event, presented by the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), takes place on October 4 - 7 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

USPAACC’s Allen will co-host the session “Minority Chambers of Commerce: Accelerators of Broadband 5G Outreach and Deployment” with Ron Busby, President and CEO of US Black Chambers, Inc. It will be a robust discussion among leaders of minority chambers and organizations about best practices for working with WIA and its members to bring broadband 5G services to underserved populations and underrepresented communities. Justin Nelson, Co-Founder & President National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and C. LeRoy Cavazos-Reyna, Vice President of Government and International Affairs, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will join the panel.

Allen will also host “Expanding Opportunity for Women-owned and Women-led Businesses in Telecom,” a discussion on opportunities for women in the telecom industry and how this sector could increase the participation of women as the new legislation is expected to bring billions of dollars of investment in America’s broadband infrastructure. Debra Mercier, Executive Director for Programs WWLF – Woman’s Wireless Leadership Forum, Pamela Prince-Eason, President & CEO Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and Ashli Fuselier, Secretary WWLF Executive Board will be on the panel.

The WIA represents the businesses that develop, build, own and operate the nation’s wireless infrastructure. The organization’s members include wireless carriers, infrastructure providers, and professional services firms that collectively own and operate telecommunications facilities around the globe.
