25th Anniversary CelebrAsian Business Opportunity Conference held in Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, DC | May 28, 2010
The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) held its marquee event, the 25th Anniversary CelebrAsian Business Opportunity Conference, on May 25-27, in Washington, DC—where USPAACC was founded a quarter-century ago.
PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi served as the Conference Chair; PepsiCo and Wells Fargo were the Corporate Co-Chairs; and Alorica Inc. was the Asian American Business Co-Chair. Over 50 Fortune corporations, 25 Federal Agencies, 15 Asian American-owned businesses and several media partners sponsored the Conference. In all, more than 750 Conference participants came to the nation’s capital for the three-day event.
CelebrAsian—the oldest and largest pan Asian American business opportunity conference in the United States—connects hundreds of top-caliber Asian American suppliers and business owners with buyers from Fortune 500 corporations, the Federal government, and the small and minority business community, through pre-scheduled one-on-one matchmaking meetings, informative summits, workshops, and networking events.
“We have a rich heritage of success—25 years in the making—to share with the more than 1.1 million Asian American-owned businesses in the United States today,” USPAACC National President & CEO Susan Au Allen said. “Whether in helping them grow their business, promoting diversity and inclusion, advocating for new legislation, or opening more access to contract opportunities—we are continuing to build a strong legacy for the future of Asian American business owners and the success of our community in the mainstream.”
CelebrAsian 2010 was held at The United States Capitol, Omni Shoreham hotel and The Ritz-Carlton, Washington DC.
