What is AASC?
Asian American Suppliers Council (AASC) enables certified Asian American suppliers to increase their contacts and sales and helps corporate and public-sector purchasers to diversify their supplier and customer base. Membership in AASC is a unique opportunity to develop mutually beneficial business relationships.
Purpose
Asian American business owners, many of whom are new to America, often encounter cultural barriers as they attempt to contract with corporate America and government agencies. Through a variety of activities, AASC brings together Asian American suppliers and major purchasers in settings that foster business development and take full advantage of the cultural mosaic of America. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for purchasers to benefit from the ideas, hard work, and customer-orientation of the Asian American entrepreneur.
Participating Purchasers Can
- Receive specific referrals to suppliers able to do the job—not just a list of companies who may not return your call
- Employ USPAACC’s E-Portal to find Asian American suppliers
- Find the larger companies you need. Of the 24,000 minority businesses that generated sales over $1 million, over 50 percent were owned and operated by Asian Americans
- Take advantage of our three tiers of suppliers: national, regional and local
- Reach suppliers in areas with high Asian American populations – on the East and West Coast, in Texas, Georgia, and the Midwest, and in major cities
